GRAND RAPIDS (WZZM) -- A West Michigan company providing seats for businesses like Burger King, is expanding. The Grand Rapids Chair Company started in 1991 with steel frame seating for restaurants.

Wednesday, the state awarded Grand Rapids Chair Company a $200,000 grant towards consolidating its four facilities at a new, larger location in Byron Township.
The company plans to invest $2.5 million in the plant, creating 50 new jobs. Byron Township is also providing property tax breaks for the facility.
