Mini-van roll over crash causes interstate 196 to be shut down.
UPDATE 4:30 p.m. All lanes of Westbound I-196 between Market and Chicago Drive are now back open.
GRAND RAPIDS (WZZM) - Kent County Sheriff's Department says a multiple car accident has caused a temporary shutdown of I-196 westbound between Market and Chicago Drive.
Drivers will be rerouted towards the Lake Michigan Drive exit.
According to Michigan State Police a mini-van carrying 10 people attempted a quick lane change which caused the van to roll over. Injuries range from minor to very severe.
Among those injured were a young teenager and a pregnant woman.
