MANISTEE, Mich. (WZZM) -- A Grand Rapids man is facing charges after police say he used a stolen credit card at two businesses.
Police believe Brandon Ireland, 22, broke into multiple vehicles while in town visiting friends. Shortly after one of the break-ins, Ireland was caught on surveillance camera walking into a McDonald's where a stolen credit card was used. Police say he also appears on a gas stations surveillance video, using the same card.
After numerous tips, police identified Ireland late Friday afternoon and arrested him. Officers have since recovered the stolen credit card, $600 in cash, some jewelry and at least one iPod.
Ireland is facing two felony charges including possessing and using a stolen financial transaction device, and possessing stolen property and driving on a suspended license. He's free on bond.
