(WZZM)- The last weekend of Spring Break should be spent doing one of these three things!
KidzFest 2013 has been going on all break, and kids have been having tons of fun.
There are more than 50 attractions available to enjoy including things like bounce houses, face painting, virtual games, a zipline, and an exotic animal petting zoo.
Admission is $12 per day. Children under 13 must be accompanied by an adult. Adults will have to pay a $5 admission fee.
KidzFest 2013 is happening at the DeltaPlex Arena in Walker, located at 2500 Turner Ave.
Check out some rocks (and lots of shiny things) at the Indian Mounds Rock and Mineral Show.
Ten vendors will display their finest pieces. Visitors will be able to look, learn, and buy. Prices range from very reasonable to pricey.
The Michigan Rock Clubs offer educational opportunities for children throughout the year via field trips and school projects.
The Indian Mounds Rock and Mineral Show is going on at Rogers Plaza in Wyoming. It is free to the public. The exhibits open up around 9:30 a.m.
The Grand Rapids Latin American Film Festival is back for its fourth year in West Michigan.
The festival premiers 14 Central and South American films, acclaimed in the Latin world.
Saturday night, join Venezuelan director Juan Andes Bello for a screening of his 2010 documentary film called La Reina del Pueblo. at 5 p.m. Directly following that, Argentinean director Gustavo will take the stage with his showing of Medianeras.
That all starts at 5 p.m. at Wealthy Theatre with a Q&A following directly after.
The festival is free, and 13 of the 14 films will play at Wealthy Theatre in Grand Rapids.
