Tuesday was a cloudy and snowy day across West Michigan with 2-5" of lake-enhanced snowfall. Considerable blowing snow reduced visibility at times. Temperatures climbed to around 20° to the mid 20s.
Tuesday night, the heavier snow will become lighter until after 4 AM when snowfall ramps up again, especially for the morning commute. Temperatures will be around 10-15°. Winds will be west at 8-16 mph, diminishing to 6-12 mph inland and west at 15-25 mph along the lakeshore. Wind chills will be around 2 to -3°.
Wednesday, snow throughout the morning will change over to lake-effect snow with an additional 3" inland and 5" possible along the lakeshore, with locally higher amounts.
