Some Much Need Rain

West Michigan should finally get some rain over the next couple of days with temperatures staying well above normal. Cooler and dry weather moves back into the area for ealy next week.

Skies will remain mostly cloudy tonight with a chance of showers and thunderstorms moving in later this evening. The best chance of thunderstorms will be west of US 131. It will be a warm and muggy night with lows in the low-mid 60s. Winds will be southeast at 5-10 mph.

Tomorrow will bring a mix of clouds and sunshine with scattered showers and thunderstorms. Highs will climb into the low-mid 80s with dew points in the low-mid 60s. Winds will be south at 8-16 mph.

Showers and thunderstorms are likely on Saturday with high temperatures in the low-mid 80s. It will be a breezy day with southwest winds at 10-20 mph.

Cooler air moves back into West Michigan by Sunday. Highs will be in the upper 70s to around 80 under partly sunny skies.

Dry weather return for Monday through Wednesday with partly to mostly sunny skies. High temperatures will be in the upper 70s to around 80 with lows in the mid-upper 50s.

The 6-10 Day Outlook for Wednesday, August 27 through Sunday, August 31 calls for above average temperatures and below average precipitation. Average highs are around 76-77° with average precipitation of .64".

The 8-14 Day Outlook for Friday, August 29 through Thursday, September 4 calls for above average temperatures and below average precipitation. Average highs are around 76° with average precipitation of .92".
