The Grand Rapids Ballet Company is bringing a classic back to the stage for the 2016 holiday season.

The classic story featuring a little girl, a nutcracker, sugar plum fairies, fighting mice and toy soldiers is being brought to life alongside the Grand rapids Symphony.

The production features choreography by Val Caniparoli and sets designs by Eugene Lee.

Performances will be the weekends of Dec. 9-11 and 16-18.
