Hundreds of people gathered downtown Grand Rapids to celebrate the 29th annual Pride Festival hosted by the Grand Rapids Pride Center.
The entire week has been jam-packed with events -- from live music, a candlelit vigil, a rally and march -- there has been a ton to do.
Organizers say all proceeds from the Saturday's festival, and the events throughout the week, go toward fundraising for the GRPC's yearlong initiatives.
The festival's headlining concert featured a main performance by Billy Gilman, country music star and runner-up on NBC's The Voice. Opening acts include Bonnie McKee, DJ Citizen Jane, Liptick Jodi, DJ Keller Shaw, Dymond Denae Rumors House Divas, and more.
"Pride Festival is our organization's largest fundraiser of the year. The proceeds from the Festival allow our organization to offer year round support to the West Michigan community, " said Grand Rapids Pride Center Board President, Mike Hemmingsen.
"Additionally, the purpose of Festival is to unite the West Michigan community, and provide awareness of our LGBTQ community through educational and inclusive events."
