Concentration, hand-eye coordination and memorization all come into play during Sport Stacking. It's the newly popular activity of stacking plastic cups in different shapes as fast as possible.

Mr. Jim Merrill is a West Michigan native who travels the country, teaching kids how to stack. It's part of an education program he provides to local schools and libraries.

In addition to Sport Stacking, Mr. Jim teaches life skills and character development using visual aids to make his message memorable.

He will be giving Sport Stacking lessons in West Michigan in July.

On Tuesday, July 11, he will be at the Fremont Area District Library at 10:30 a.m, and at the Newaygo Area District Library at 2 p.m.

On Wednesday, July 12, he will be at the library in Jamestown Township at 11 a.m, then at the Howard Miller Public Library in Zeeland at 3 p.m.
