The Blanford Nature Center is hosting a Kombucha Workshop Saturday Nov. 11, 1 to 2:30 p.m.
Kombucha is a fermented beverage dating back almost 3,000 years and has been used in many cultures as a beneficial drink for digestion, inflammation, immune function, and countless other uses including skin toner. Blandford welcomes Geoff Lamden of Sacred Springs Kombucha, who has brewed kombucha for over a decade and will teach you how to do it too, talk about proper handling, clear up myths, and talk about possible health benefits.
