Andy O'Riley from Positively Muskegon offered up this list of his top events to look forward to in the month of March:

March 3: The Million Dollar Quartet at the Frauenthal. Elvis, Jerry Lee Lewis, Carl Perkins and Johnny Cash came together one night one time in a recording studio and it was not supposed to be recorded, but it was. This is the story of that legendary evening and it's built to rock. Tickets are $35-$50 and it's a family-friendly show and fun for all ages.

March 9: Louie Anderson at the Frauenthal Theater. Classic comedian, movie and tv star, Louie Anderson was in "Coming to America", "Family Feud" and a star stand-up extraordinaire. One night only at the Frauenthal Center. Tickets are $29-$49.

March 9-10: The Muskegon Lakeshore Home Garden and D-I-Y Show at Fricano's Event Center on Muskegon Lake. Lots of great local providers of home services, do-it-yourself seminars, fun project ideas and displays to check out. There will be beer and wine tasting, Chef Char Morse will be doing some cooking demos as well, along with a delicious Bloody Mary Bar. It's $5 to get in and it goes from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. on Friday and 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Saturday.

March 10: No More Sidelines Set the Stage Gala. Fundraiser for the kids and families of No More Sidelines, an organization for special abilities kids. It's been going for 12 years strong now. Andy O'Riley and Dave Kaechele will be the emcees. Tickets are $45 and you'll find live and silent auction items, strolling cuisine, music, and fun.

March 16-17: The Michigan Irish Music Festival St. Patrick's Day Parade. Happening at the Bella Maria Event Center on Pontaluna 5:30 to 11 p.m. There will be lots of great food, music and fun.

March 24: MUSKECON! Back by popular demand Muskegon's own comic convention is back at the Holiday Inn Downtown Muskegon. It's $5 for adults and packed to the rafters with all things comics.

March 23-24: Paulie Shore at The Back Alley Comedy Club at Sherman Lanes.
