Special Olympics athletes from across Michigan participated in the State Summer games this week.
Nearly 3,000 of them swam, played volleyball, weight lifted, participated in track and field and much more on the campus of Central Michigan.
A young athletes clinic was also held for those athletes between the ages of 2 and 7.
The day finished up with closing ceremonies Friday, although competition officially wraps up Saturday.
