For beginners to advanced levels, all can learn or sharpen a skill-set at the classes offered at Jo-Ann Fabrics.

"We teach sewing classes, we teach knitting and crochet. We teach jewelry classes. There's some painting classes here. We teach Wilton cake decorating classes so there's a wide variety of things we do and a wide variety of levels," says J.T. Williams, a sales associate at Jo-Ann Fabrics in Grandville.

You can find all the classes at the Jo-Ann Fabric and Craft Store website. Classes vary in price and change every few months. Look for special themed classes near holidays.

Jo-Ann also will be offering two kids summer camps, one for sewing and one for crafts. More information about the camps can be found here.

"It's just important to keep the creativity going, keep the mind cells going and to just express themselves in a way that maybe they can't do in another area," says Williams.
