Michigan State Police held their annual event, Stuff the Blue Goose for Christmas, that collects donations for those in need during the holiday season.

The event was held in Kent and Ottawa Counties on Sunday, December 10. Two Michigan State Police patrol cars were situated at Walmart stores in Grand Haven and Wyoming.

The Blue Goose is what police call the Michigan State Police patrol car. They hoped to stuff the patrol cars with new toys, clothing and non-perishable food.

All of the donated items will be turned over to the Salvation Army so they can be distributed to families in need.
