I'm standing outside the replica Oval Office at the Ford Museum. When you think of the Oval and President Ford, one of the things that may come to mind is 'service.' Which is appropriate, considering today's One Good Thing.

A local Girl Scout I previously profiled who was the youngest person ever to receive the "Individual Gold President's Volunteer Service Award." Sawyer Hendrickson and her troop tried to get to D-C last year to meet President Obama. That didn't happen.

But, They finally got there. Sawyer's mom sent me some pictures of their trip. I put them together in the story we have for you now.
