On this St. Patrick's Day, it may be hard to find anything healthy about it -- so, WZZM 13 Health Reporter Valerie Lego did a little research and found the top health trends in Ireland for 2017.

Souping is the new juicing.

It's like juicing but instead of replacing meals with fruits and veggies that are juiced, you replace five meals a week with hearty vegetable dense soup. The soup is lower in calories and sugar.

Next on the Irish health fad list -- Golden Lattes!

These are made with cold-pressed turmeric oil blended with almond or cashew milk. These are replacing coffee and tea in Ireland.

Why turmeric? It is claimed to be one of the healthiest spices in the world with healing properties for everything from an anti-inflammatory, cancer fighting, helping digestion and preventing with hair loss, especially from male pattern baldness. Just to name a few.

This next health trend though doesn't seem very Irish.

Sobriety! As hard as that might be to believe especially on St. Patrick's Day.

Living a cleaner lifestyle is becoming trendy. There's a new sober nights trend in Ireland which include sober raves and juice crawls as a way to promote social gatherings without influence from alcohol.
