There is life after retirement! Learn how to maximize your skills

Enlighten, Encourage, Empower is a presentation geared for older adults, and anyone seeking to find peace, forgiveness, and purpose as they transition to the next season of life.

GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. — Senior Leadership Grand Rapids organizes events that assist older adults to recognize their talents and skills and find purposeful activities to enhance their lives and communities.

Senior Leadership Grand Rapids originally began as the brainchild of Dominican Sister Agnes Thiel as an off-shoot of Leadership Grand Rapids, a program of the Grand Rapids Area Chamber of Commerce. It was created with the mission to develop and empower mature adults to assume new leadership roles that contribute to the well-being of the community. The philosophy behind this program was and continues to be that mature adults represent one of our most precious natural resources, and are a greatly under-utilized source of community leaders.
