Have you been weighing your options when it comes to buying a new scale?

Today we are testing out the WYZE scale.

It is a thirty-dollar digital scale that claims it can do more than measure your weight.

Does it work?

Let's Try It Before You Buy It!

In the box, you will find the scale and batteries. Once putting the batteries in, all you need to do is connect it to their app on your phone.

Here you can set up your user-profiles and tell it a bit about yourself

Our first test was to compare this to an old fashion analog scale, and they were the same. The one advantage the WYZE scale has is there is no need to adjust the scale. Also, it was easier to read.

We tested it out with a few more body sizes, and it kept up with the accurate results.

When weighing yourself, you can save the results to their app; this comes in handy if you track your weight progress. You can even set a goal if you would like.

The scale can also connect to other fitness apps if you want to stay in the different app’s ecosystem.

The scale can do more than tell you your weight. If connected to the app, it will also display your BMI on the scale right after measuring your weight. But it also shows many other measurements in the app.

This will keep track of: Weight, BMI, Body Fat, Muscle Mass, Body Water, Lean Body Mass, Bone Mass, Protein, Visceral fat, BMR. Metabolic age. Now we cannot verify the accuracy of all these extra features, but they are handy tool for a reference point.

The last feature the scale has is a Heart Rate monitor, and when testing it against the WYZE watch we have tried, we found them to give the same results.

The WYZE scale seems to be a great deal for around thirty dollars when considering a basic analog scale is just fifteen dollars cheaper.

So, the Positives:

  • The scale was accurate in our tests.
  • It has Multiple features that seem to be consistent with weight loss and health.
  • And then the ability to track progress in the WYZE APP or other fitness apps

The negatives:

  • It is APP-dependent on all extra features, even though you can use it to measure weight.
  • You also need to have bare feet for more than weight features
  • Also, the glass is easy to clean but shows every little mark

For the price and features, we rate this as a Buy It!
