Try It Before You Buy It: Woof Washer 360

WZZM 13's Lauren Stanton puts the Woof Washer 360 dog washer to the test in this Try It Before You Buy It report.

Woof Washer 360

GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. (WZZM) -- The Woof Washer 360 is a hose attachment in the shape of a ring that's supposed to wash all sides of your dog in just minutes. It's like a car wash for your dog.

WZZM 13's Jennifer Pascua let me test it out on her Pug mix, Roxy, because we ordered the smaller version of the Woof Washer. It comes in two sizes, a 40-inch circumference and a 49-inch circumference.

Normally, since this hooks up to a garden hose, we think it'd be pretty chilly for a dog. We hooked it up to our station janitor's closet, so we were able to use warm water, keep that in mind.

We found if you turned the on/off knob all the way up, the Woof Washer sprayed EVERYWHERE. You WILL get all wet trying to wash your dog. The only way not to get wet is to use the lowest setting, but it's not a very strong stream of water that comes out of the ring.

The shampoo option was nice, but Jenny didn't think it got very sudsy.

Roxy eventually got used to it, and seemed to enjoy the massaging spray. But it might freak out a lot of dogs.

We paid $19.99 plus $7.99 for shipping for the small version, it's $29.99 for the large model plus shipping.

I wouldn't recommend the Woof Washer 360. The spray goes everywhere and you'll definitely end up wet. And because many people don't have a warm water hook-up, I think it'd be pretty cold for a dog with a normal hose.
