Downtown carnival: Located on Washington Avenue from Harbor Drive to Third Street. The annual Coast Guard Festival Carnival strives to provide a friendly environment for adults and children alike. Furnishing the midway with over two dozen carnival rides, family friendly games, professional food concessions in our food court, and guest amenities like an on-site ATM and help desk, there is something to appease the whole family.

Welcoming Reception, by invitation only.

4 p.m.

At the heart of the Coast Guard Festival is the National Memorial Service. This ceremony is held at Escanaba Park. We focus all our attention on the brave members of the United States Coast Guard, in particular those who have “passed over the bar” in the last year.

5 p.m.

Coast Guard Enlisted Dinner at the American Legion Post 28, enlisted personnel only.

5:30 p.m.

Boardwalk Brass of Grand Haven performance at Escanaba Park.
