The Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (ATF), the Kent County Sheriff's Office and the National Shooting Sports Foundation are working together to offer a reward for information that would lead to the recovery of stolen guns out of Cedar Springs.

On Nov. 4, the Family Farm and Home located at 4175 17 Mile Road in Cedar Springs was broken into and 89 handguns were stolen. The break-in was discovered when employees arrived to work.

KCSO has recovered at least 13 of the 89 taken and two people were held for receiving and concealing stolen property -- however, the incident is still under active investigation.

ATF is offering a $2,500 and NSSF will match their reward for a total of $5,000, according to a news release from ATF. NSSF matches ATF reward efforts in cases involving theft of firearms from a federally licensed firearms retailer.

Anyone with information about this incident should contact ATF at 800-ATF-GUNS (1-800-283-4867) or the Kent County Sheriff's Office at 616-632-6125.
