An apparently armed and dangerous man is wanted in connection to a weekend shooting at Davenport University.
Paul Christopher Howard, a 24-year-old Lansing resident, is believed to have fired a gun amid a fight early Sunday, Oct. 23, on the university's campus, according to a Kent County Sheriff's Department news release.
The bullet went though a dorm wall, hitting a student in the hand.
Officers are looking for Howard, who should be considered armed and dangerous, police say.
If arrested and arraigned, he faces four charges: discharge firearm in building, carrying a concealed weapon, carrying a weapon with unlawful intent, and felony firearm.
Anyone with information is asked to contact Kent County Sheriff Dispatch at 616-632-6357 or Silent Observer at 616-774-2345.
