A Christmas packaged delivered to a home was stolen Sunday afternoon.

The Michigan State Police Marshal Post, White Pigeon Detachment is investigating the theft of some packages in Three Rivers on Sunday, Dec. 10.

According to a news release, the packages were outside of a home on Patterson Lane -- which is a dead end street.

Multiple packages were delivered between 12 and 1 p.m. on Sunday, however no one was home. When the family did return home and move packages inside, they noticed that a packaged was missing -- one meant to be a Christmas present.

MSP believes the suspect stole the present a short time after the packages were delivered.

Anyone with information should contact MSP's Marshall Post at 269-558-0500 or Crime Stoppers at 574-288-STOP.
