UPDATE: Fruitport police have made two arrests in relation to larcenies from vehicles which occurred late Monday and early Tuesday.

According to police, within a few minutes of releasing video of the men attempting to enter a garage, both were identified by citizens. Within one hour, both suspects were in custody.

FRUITPORT, Mich. - Police in Fruitport are asking for the public's help in identifying two people that may have a connection to thefts from motor vehicles in the area.

The Fruitport Township Police Department has been investigating several thefts from vehicles in neighborhoods that happened late Monday night or early Tuesday morning. The department posted a video of the two subjects captured by a security camera.

Residents are urged to lock their vehicles and garages. Any suspicious subjects should be reported to 911 immediately.
