An Ohio man was arrested on Wednesday morning for his connection with the death of Gary Wayne-Woodward Mabry earlier this year.
The suspect, a 30-year-old Ohio man, was arrested and was charged in a warrant from the Manistee County Prosecutor's Office. The warrant charge include homicide and manslaughter. The charge carries a maximum penalty of 15 years in prison or a $7,500 fine.
Detectives say that the suspect and Mabry were acquainted and drugs were involved in the case.
Charges will not be officially pressed until after an autopsy is completed and reviewed by a medical examiner.
The suspect was arrested in Manistee and is currently lodged in Manistee County jail until his arraignment. His name will be released after the arraignment.
