Dearborn police have released surveillance video they hope will help them nab five men who robbed a beauty supply store at gunpoint Saturday night.

The men, armed with shotguns and handguns, demanded employees at Kay Beauty Supply, 7746 Wyoming, give them money from the cash register and safe, according to a news release Sunday from the Dearborn Police Department. The robbers also took numerous beauty product items, police said.

No shots were fired, but police said the employees sustained unspecified non-life threatening injuries,

After the robbery, the suspects exited the business and entered a black Chevrolet Tahoe that was reported stolen prior to this incident.

Surveillance video shows four masked men and a fifth man without a mask enter the store at 8:40 p.m, Saturday.

“Crimes of this nature are particularly disturbing because the suspects showed no regard for the safety of the employees," Dearborn Police Chief Ronald Haddad said in the news release, "Crimes like this will not be tolerated. We are urging the public to come forward with information regarding this incident.”
