A woman was held at gunpoint by two suspects and robbed at an ATM in Battle Creek Saturday night.

Battle Creek Police responded to reports of an armed robbery in progress around 10 p.m. on Saturday, March 18 at the Omni Credit Union on Roosevelt Avenue.

Officers were told two suspects were holding a woman at gunpoint at the ATM before getting into her car with her and fleeing the scene.

The victim was eventually located by officers and told them that when she drove up to the ATM, the two suspects pointed guns at her and forced her to withdraw money. The suspects got into her car and forced her to drive them to Gardinia Street, near Hubert Street where they got out and began to run.

A Battle Creek K9 tracked down some old clothing worn by the suspects near an apartment building on Redner Avenue. Police say at this point, it appeared the suspects got into another car and drove away.

There are no suspects in custody at this time, however police have released descriptions. Suspect #1 is described as a black man, about 6-foot-2 with a medium build. Suspect #2 is described as a black man who is shorter and heavier than suspect #1.
