State Farm will give $20,000 to the Grand Rapids Public Schools Academy of Design and Construction's "hands on" educational program.

The educational program is a partner with Habitat for Humanity of Kent County and teaches students real-world construction skills as well as the importance of volunteerism by building a Habitat home for a local family.

State Farm representatives will be presenting a check for $20,000 to support the partnership and further the program on Friday, March 17, at the main office of the Habitat for Humanity of Kent County in Grand Rapids.
