The Holland Public School Board of Education will move forward with restructuring the district next year.
HPS will transition into a K-5, 6-8, 9-12 district. East will be the only middle school. School officials say more changes are still being worked on.
Superintendent Brian Davis previously told WZZM 13, a lack of state funding, school choice, and a drop in student enrollment is forcing the district to restructure, to avoid cutting any programs.
HPS says they will keep parents up to date on the process on their website.
