West Michigan Symphony holds annual Link Up concert

4,600 elementary school students participate in the concert.

The West Michigan Symphony Link Up Program teaches elementary school students the importance of music. The annual spring concert was held on Tuesday, April 24.

The program teaches kids in third through fifth grade how to read, play and compose music.

Fifty-four elementary schools in six counties across West Michigan are a part of the program.

West Michigan Symphony Music Mentors help guide the students so that they're ready to play with the orchestra at the WMS Link Up concert every year.
