'Free Beer and Hot Wings' host's Illinois court case dropped

The domestic battery case against West Michigan radio personality 'Producer Joe' has been dropped.

WHEATON, Ill. - West Michigan radio host Joe Gassmann's domestic battery case has been dropped.

Gassmann, commonly known as "Producer Joe," is a radio host and producer for WGRD's Free Beer and Hot Wings morning show. He was arrested in Illinois back in March.

According to court documents, no complaining witnesses appeared for the scheduled hearing Tuesday, May 22. The judge dismissed the case.

Gassmann was suspended from the show since his arrest. Gregg Daniels (Free Beer) says Gassmann will return to the show on Thursday.
