Fowling is a new sport making it's way to Grand Rapids.
The game was accidentally invented at a tailgate at the 2001 Indy 500 by Chris Hutt and his friends as a hybrid of football, bowling and horseshoes.
From that one lane the game grew to two lanes, to backyards, to tournaments, to Detroit Lions tailgates in Eastern Market and eventually into a 14,000 square foot warehouse in Detroit.
Now, it's coming to West Michigan.
Shooting for a grand opening in mid-December, owner Laura Sullivan, is hosting a job fair November 28 and 29 -- from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.. They are looking for bartenders, bar backs, front desk employees and lane referees. Sullivan expects to hire around 60 people.
