State police are reporting a fourth victim in last week's spate of shootings on Detroit highways.
A Southfield woman has come forward telling police that on Thursday, Dec. 7 her car was struck by gunfire, while she was driving on I-94 and French Road, according to a tweet from Michigan State Police.

The woman said the incident occurred around the same three other freeway shootings happened.
At about 2:57 a.m. Thursday, a male motorist from Northville was driving home from work when his vehicle was shot on westbound I-96 near the Davison Freeway. Shortly after, at about 3:04 a.m. the car of Chesterfield man driving to work was shot on westbound I-94 near Conner, according to Michigan State Police. That afternoon a Detroit man reported that his vehicle had also been shot at on I-96 and Livernois at approximately the same time as the I-96 and Davidson shooting.
The Southfield woman's account brings the number of victims up to four, in a series of shootings which Michigan State Police believe to have all been perpetrated by the same person.
"At this time there is no relationship between any of the victims, however, with the locations of these shootings and the updated timelines detectives are treating all three incidents having the same suspect (s)," MSP wrote in a press release Friday, noting that a gray or silver sedan was seen at at least two of the incidents.
The agency said it is redeploying personnel to the Detroit freeway system as a precaution and extra patrols are being called in to augment regularly scheduled patrols.
Anyone with information on either shooting is asked to call Michigan State Police at 313-237-2450.
