They call themselves "The Three Amigos," and a group of local restaurateurs is bringing southern-style cooking to Gaslight Village.
The restaurant opened earlier in the month, led by Brienne Postema, Mike Wagner and Tom Pugh. They love oysters and thought the menu would go over well in metro Grand Rapids.
They even traveled to South Carolina last year to research this type of fare. However, they say they will add a little Michigan flair to that southern cooking.
