UPDATE: Andrew Hudson plead guilty to second-degree murder for Sept. 3 stabbing death of Ana Carrillo, the mother of his three children. He's facing a minimum of 40 years as part of plea agreement.

GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. - Two weeks ago, Andrew Hudson -- the man accused of killing his ex-girlfriend -- was offered a plea deal. He was given until Monday, Dec. 18 to decide whether to take it or not.

The judge told Hudson that if he doesn't accept the deal, there will be no more negotiations and the case will go to trial. Hudson is scheduled to appear in court at 1:30 p.m. Monday afternoon.

Ana Carrillo was Hudson's ex-girlfriend and mother of three children. She disappeared earlier this year while on her way to pick up her children from Hudson's home.

Carrillo's body was found in the woods near Hudson's mother's home last month.

Hudson is being charged with Carrillo's murder. Hudson's mother, father, and his father's current common law wife are all charged with perjury -- the three lied to police during the investigation of Carrillo's disappearance.
