Its been three weeks since Jamel Marcus Parker was last seen. As police continue to investigate Parker's disappearance, his loved ones are asking for answers from those who last saw him.

"I just want someone to come forward who knows, because people know what happened, they know what happened to Jamel," Jamie Gray, Parker's sister, told WZZM 13 on Sunday, March. 5.

Parker was last seen running away early Feb. 12, in the area of Broadway Avenue and Webster Street NW. Since then, police have been involved using boats and helicopters to search the Grand River.

"How it was presented to us, how he left that kick back that night and we need to know why he supposedly ran in terror if that is the truth," Gray said.

It's the truth they're hoping to get out with a little incentive. The family is offering a $5,000 reward for anyone that comes forward with information that will help find Parker.

"The family and I just have a strange, eerie feeling about the situation, and we just can't rest so we're just trying to be as persistent as possible," Gray added.

"We know someone in the community and from that night that was there at that kick back, which they consider a place they all grouped up, and hung out with and we need to know answers from those people, who were last seen with Jamel and hopefully they have the courage to give what they know."

Parker is described as 5-foot-4 to 5-foot-5 inches tall and about 180 pounds with brown hair and brown eyes. Police say he was last seen wearing a black baseball hat, black sweatshirt, blue jeans, and black Air Force One shoes.

If you have seen Parker or have any information on his whereabouts, you're urged to contact Grand Rapids police at 616-456-4683 or Silent Observer at 616-774-2345.
