Grand Rapids based, Long Road Distillers launched a new partnership with Imperial Beverage, which is out of Kalamazoo.
Imperial delivers beer, wine and spirits across the state. The partnership will expand Long Road's ability to distribute its products to more customers.
Load Road's spirits are already available in over 800 bars, restaurants and retail stores. The company believes this new partnership with Imperial will make their product more widely available.
The distillery is celebrating this new relationship by releasing a limited quantity of its Straight Bourbon Whiskey into statewide distribution. It will be back in bars and on store shelves starting the first week of May.
Long Road opened in 2014 on Grand Rapids' Westside. Since then, they have released award-winning spirits, including their Michigin—a gin made from all Michigan-sourced ingredients.
