Their stores were damaged by an arsonist's flame in September. But now the leaders of Africa's Child Thrift Store and Ken's Fruit Market are set to reopen.

Customers will be able to return to Ken's for the first time at 7 a.m. Thursday, April 13 according to a Facebook post. Africa's Child will open later that day, at 10 a.m.

The director of operations at Africa's Child says there will be drawings for door prizes through Saturday.

According to its website, Africa's Child donates its profits to Christian ministries in Africa who help orphans, vulnerable children, and their caregivers.

On Facebook, the leaders of Ken's showed off some of the work they have been doing in and outside of the building.

At last check, the Kent County Sheriff's Department had not caught any suspects in the case.
