One person is hurt after a shooting on the southeast side of Grand Rapids.

Police say a young man is expected to live after the incident on Collins Avenue between Griggs and Burton streets.

The shooting happened around 9:15 p.m. Thursday. Police say the man showed up at the hospital.

Grand Rapids Police say this shooting happened at the same house where a suspected barricade situation happened Sunday.

Police searched outside and inside the home for a shooting suspect for nearly seven hours but were not able to locate that person.

Police would not say if Thursday's shooting was related to the incident over the weekend.
