Greenville High School's school officials canceled classes on October 13 while a "possible threat" was investigated.
The district made the decision to close the high school for the day after receiving information about a possible threat to the school, however later on Friday morning, officials said the threat was unsubstantiated.
The superintendent said a student called the school's anonymous tip line concerned that something might happen during a planning assembly Friday morning.
As a precaution, the district canceled classes at the high school, however tonight's football game will go on as scheduled.
