A local pastor has been arrested after being suspected of arranging a meeting with a child for the purposes of sexual exploitation, according to Michigan State Police.

A search warrant was executed at 39-year-old David Robert Diehl's Kentwood home on Nov. 22, following an investigation into his online activity.

Diehl was arraigned Wednesday, Nov. 23, on charges of child sexually abusive activity and using a computer to commit a crime.

The MSP Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force was assisted by the Kentwood Police Department in this case.
