Muskegon Winter Sports Complex launches year-round dune program

Groups interested in participating in the DUNEiversity can arrange an outing and set goals with the staff.

The Muskegon Winter Sports Complex may be best known for its luge track and cross-county skiing trails, but the organization is launching a new year-round program called DUNEiversity.

The dune program is an educational program that gets people outside and teaches them about the environment. It also brings kids and adults together where they can learn about teamwork and adventuring in the outdoors.

Groups interested in participating in the DUNEiversity can arrange an outing and set goals with the staff.

Last year, the Muskegon Winter Sports Complex announced that they are developing a zip line in addition to other year-round activities. Construction will start later this year.

The DUNEiveristy program can be booked for field trips or corporate team building. After Memorial Day, the program will also offer summer day camps for kids.
