Four West Michigan communities are hosting mobile food pantries Wednesday, April 12.
Feeding America West Michigan will be in Grand Rapids, Muskegon Heights, Caledonia and Hesperia throughout the afternoon helping people who need a bite to eat.
According to a release from the Little River Band of Ottawa Indians, they're helping Feeding America West Michigan host the event Wednesday in Muskegon Heights.
15,000 pounds of food will be distributed at the Temple United Methodist Church at 2500 Jefferson Street at 5 p.m. The pantry will include fruits and vegetables, dairy products and baked goods.
Clients do not have to show identification or proof of income to receive food. But they are encouraged to bring their own bags or boxes.
Other events happening Wednesday are as follows:
4 p.m. at the Cornerstone United Methodist Church, 1675 84th Street, Caledonia
4:30 p.m. at Ottawa Hills High School, 2055 Rosewood Avenue, Grand Rapids
5 p.m. at Hesperia Community Education, 232 South Cook Street, Hesperia
