Governor Rick Snyder attended the Michigan Farm Bureau's annual luncheon in Grand Rapids on Tuesday. The meeting focused on Michigan's $100 Billion agricultural industry.

While at the luncheon Gov. Snyder did answer a few questions on the presidential election and the proposed recount here in Michigan. He believes the recount is not necessary, but add "I think the election was held and done in a thoughtful and democratic process way and obviously we have a system to challenge that and they have the right to do that."

Even though he did not endorse President-elect Donald Trump, Snyder says he wants to build a relationship with him and says he believes it's important to have a positive relationship with the new administration.
