The campaign activity follows a Friday rally that attracted thousands to Novi for Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump, who spent an hour railing against Clinton and her ties to Wall Street and the controversies surrounding her using a private e-mail server and the ties between the Clinton Foundation and her time as Secretary of State.
Trump also attended big-ticket fund-raisers in Grand Rapids on Friday afternoon and in Detroit after his rally in Novi.
Hillary Clinton was last in Michigan on Aug. 11 when she delivered a speech on jobs and the economy in Warren. But several high-profile surrogates have been back to the state, including her daughter Chelsea Clinton, who was in Traverse City on Friday and spent two days in the state last week. Vice Presidential candidate Tim Kaine and his wife, Anne Holton, have been to Michigan on two separate days each in August and September and former Maryland Gov. Martin O'Malley, who also was a Democratic presidential candidate until he dropped out after the Iowa caucuses, made a four-city stop in the state on Saturday.
