Residents at Ambrose Ridge Senior Living Apartments were left without power for most of the afternoon, like many in West Michigan, on Wednesday, March 8, 2017.
Residents told us that maintenance and management left the building early in the afternoon shortly after the entire building lost power.
"Where do we go for help?" said resident Joanne Helsel.
Helsel and other residents said their phone batteries were dwindling as the day went on.
One resident who uses an oxygen tank worried it would be a matter of hours before she ran out of oxygen.
The manager of the apartments, Julia Price, did reach to WZZM 13. She told us that as of 8:30 p.m. Wednesday all power was restored and all residents were safe.
She said there were no issues with residents getting food or oxygen, and that the apartments have an emergency contact number that was not called at all during the day.
Price said that maintenance did leave earlier in the day to go to a meeting.
