Michigan State Police are investigating a two-car crash that left one Muskegon man dead Saturday, Nov. 19.
The crash happened around 11:30 a.m. at the intersection of Maple Island Road and Ryerson Road in Cedar Creek Township, according to a news release.
The 24-year-old Muskegon man was driving eastbound on Ryerson Road when he crossed the intersection and into the path of a southbound car driven by a 50-year-old woman from Fremont.
All three involved were transported to Hackley Hospital in Muskegon.
The passenger and Fremont woman experienced non-life-threatening injuries.
The 24-year-old man sustained serious injuries -- he died from those injuries later on at the hospital.
Police believe everyone involved were wearing safety belts and that neither alcohol nor speed were factors in the crash.
