Northbound Interstate 196 was shut down in Allegan County after a semi rolled over this morning.

The freeway was shut down south of M-89 around 6:10 a.m. Tuesday, April 11.

Michigan State Police troopers say the semi left the road and hit a guardrail face, causing the truck to roll onto its side in the middle of the highway. Traffic was blocked for about three hours.

The driver, a 29-year-old man from Indiana, was taken to Holland Hospital with minor injuries.

The crash remains under investigation.
