It's become a holiday tradition for so many on the Lakeshore. Dozens of dancers will take the stage at Knickerbocker Theater next Friday, December 8, to present "The Promise." The ballet will run two weekends, with six performances.

It's a classical and contemporary ballet that use scripture to tell the Christmas story.

WZZM 13's Meredith TerHaar interviewed resident choreographer Tess Sinke as well as executive director Debra Burr about this year's show. It includes a partnership with the Holland chorale as well as a free performance for 500 people who might not be able to see the ballet otherwise.

Tickets are available through the Hope College box office by calling (616) 395-7890. You can also purchase them online here.
