A Zeeland teenager is in critical but stable condition after a one-car crash Saturday afternoon.

It happened just after 4:15 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 1, on West Olive Road, north of Croswell Street in Port Sheldon Township.

According to the Ottawa Co. Sheriff's Office, the 17-year-old teen was driving at a high rate of speed on West Olive Road, went through a stop sign and went off the west side of the road. She then hit the concrete porch of an unoccupied building.

She was flown to Helen DeVos Children's Hospital, where she is in critical but stable condition.
